Crappy Curbs Information Design
This information design was created for a Visual Aesthetics class for the Elon Interactive Media Program, but also was created to coincide with the #CrappyCurb Campaign that is ongoing. This design showcases hierarchy of design, such as color and contrasts with the headings and sub-headings, as well as using Gestalt’s design principals to ensure the graphs are understandable to the audience, and are related to the subject matter at hand. Hence, the curb cuts represent pie charts, and the androgynous people represent civilians of Seattle, and the population of the world that represents people with disabilities.
