TRAILER: Celine Dion Live at the Gaza Stip

I was commissioned by Durham, North Carolina’s premiere theater company, Little Green Pigs: Theatrical Concern, to film and edit their trailer for their original cabaret Celine Dion Live at the Gaza Strip. The backstory of the show is an ex-Israeli soldier believes she is in the body of Celine Dion, but rather than play on the Sunset Strip in LA or the Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, she plays on the Gaza Strip in a run down cafe. For this video shoot, I was in charge of scouting the location. The theater director and I wanted it to have the worn down feel of Gaza, so we used a construction site right at the peak of sunset. The purpose of this trailer is to make the character, Celine, feel like she’s prepping for her show by walking around and posing on the Gaza Strip with the background of one of Celine’s hit songs All By Myself.
